The Jamaican Association for Physics in Medicine (JAPM) will be hosting its first conference under the title, “Quality Assurance in Radiation Medicine for Sustainable Healthcare”. The conference covering Radiotherapy, Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Safety will target various technical groups, policy makers, and administrators who engage in the use of radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes within the English-speaking Caribbean. The primary aim is to provide attendees with the practical information necessary to deliver radiation medicine in limited resource conditions while maintaining the required quality standards.
